Our Story
AmeriCrane, LLC. was founded in Cleburne, TX in April of 2001. After just 2 Years in business, The Barnett Shale was discovered to be sitting directly under Cleburne, TX., and AmeriCrane saw immense growth in the natural gas industry in that boom!
In 2005 AmeriCrane, LLC. bid on its first refinery turnaround in LaPorte, TX, and was awarded a challenging (13) crane project at Nova Chemicals that was completed around the clock in just over (3) months, spurring the opening of AmeriCrane’s Channelview Office, and operations in the Houston area.
Our Founder
Our Founder, Kenny Emigh started in the Heavy Lifting & Rigging Industry in the LaPorte, TX. market in 1994 working for Anthony Crane Rental in daily operations, and dispatch.
By 1997, he was in Sales in the general Gulf Coast area planning Heavy Lift Jobs, and renting cranes from Baton Rouge, LA. to Corpus Cristi, TX. carrying, at one time, Site-Specific Orientations for access into 81 different refineries, and plants across the Gulf Coast based out of the Houston area.
By 2000, he was tasked with opening a brand-new Dallas, TX. branch for the international, United Kingdom based, Baldwin’s Industrial Services-Crane Rental Division.
A year later, that Branch was extremely successful, and Kenny & Anna decided he should resign to start AmeriCrane, LLC. and they never looked back.
Selling that company to TnT Crane & Rigging from Houston years later, Kenny settled into his passion for raising, and showing Cutting Horses across the country, even starting a TOP TEN-Nielsen Rated Television Show on the RFDTV Network for 8 years, producing and hosting 225 episodes of shows like The Weekend Cutter, and Cuttin Up TV, before moving home to Northeastern Oklahoma.
After consulting for some Tulsa crane rental companies in Oklahoma, the need was recognized that only knowledge, and experience in the heavy lifting & rigging industry, could bring many more benefits to the Tulsa market’ s customer base they just hadn’t experienced before.
Born in Tulsa, as the 5th generation grandson of settlers that arrived in Green Country, many years before Oklahoma became a state, most of those ancestors were born, and buried in the Collinsville, OK. area. All of them worked as cowboys, cattlemen, oilfield workers, or equipment operators (some did all of the above), and those genetics run as deep in Kenny Emigh as the sheer pride of being an Oklahoma-American with deep, deep roots in the Tulsa area.
Kenny, and his wife of 32 years Anna, live up on the Osage in Hominy, OK. surrounded by their horses, cattle, dogs, and cats… living life as ranchers in God’s country. Always ready for visits from kids and grandkids to hunt and fish on the home place in Hominy, OK.
With 30 years of experience, and knowledge in the heavy lifting, and rigging industry in Texas, added with the marketing experience of producing 225 episodes for TV, hosting news segments, and special events, and a legacy of Oklahoma history, and family legacy… AmeriCrane is born again with the Emigh Family.
